As its name suggests, Heal the Bay Aquarium is more than just an attraction. Its chief goal is to keep the surrounding waters clean for the animals and people who depend on them for survival. Secondary to that goal, the aquarium entertains and intrigues guests with its aquatic exhibits. Be part of the mission when you come to Earth Day at Heal the Bay Aquarium on April 22nd.

In honor of Earth Day, the aquarium will host a special event to showcase the flora and fauna of Santa Monica Bay. Explore more than 100 exhibits where sea creatures and sea plants, all native to the Santa Monica area, make their homes. If you want to really contribute to Heal the Bay’s cause, you and your family may want to sign up for a beach clean-up day! After completing a volunteer orientation, you’re welcome to sign up for any of the regular events. Of course, you can always support the aquarium by coming back to visit time and time again or by making a monetary donation, as well.
