If you love both wine and learning, get ready for a boozy education at the Uncorked LA Summer Wine Festival. It’s held at the California Science Center, where you’ll receive exclusive after-hours access to the museum on Saturday, August 6th, along with admission to engaging interactive exhibits. And when you’re not learning about scientific theories, you’ll be learning about international vino.
More than 100 varieties of wine and champagne will be available for tasting over the course of the evening, which begins at 8 p.m. for general admission ticket holders (but at 7 p.m. for VIPs). You’ll have until 11 p.m. to taste as many of them as you like and explore the museum with friends both new and old. Local food trucks will be on hand dishing out delicious gourmet bites to help soak up the book. There will also be a DJ if you’d rather dance the night away than explore the museum’s exhibits! Tickets start at $65, and a portion of the proceeds go to A Kid Again, a nonprofit that provides resources and support to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
